The 1990s grunge rock era is set to roar back to life for a special one-night-only event with the formation of Heilzaam, a power-packed cover band assembled exclusively for a cancer benefit. On March 2nd, music enthusiasts and philanthropists alike will converge at The Ridges to witness a musical journey through the iconic sounds of the 90s, all in the name of ‘Teaming Together for Taunesha’ to help raise money for local fighter and supporting cancer awareness.
Fronted by the dynamic vocals of Drake Sass, whose raw and emotive voice captures the essence of grunge legends, Heilzaam promises a nostalgic experience like no other. Complementing Sass's vocals are the electrifying guitar riffs of Tim Johnson and Kris Fox, taking audiences on a sonic voyage reminiscent of the golden age of grunge. Jason King's pulsating basslines and Bill Jungwirth's thunderous drumbeats further solidify Heilzaam's authentic homage to the era that defined a generation.
The brainchild of a group of passionate musicians, Heilzaam transcends mere entertainment, serving as a beacon of hope and solidarity in the fight against cancer. "Music has the power to heal, inspire, and unite," says Kris Fox, "The name Heilzaam itself actually means healing and we aim to harness that power to make a meaningful difference."
Proceeds from the concert will directly benefit and support Taunesha. Attendees can expect not only an unforgettable musical experience but also the opportunity to contribute to a cause that impacts directly at the local level.
Don't miss this rare opportunity to relive the magic of the 1990s grunge era while supporting a cause that resonates with us all.
